Why Lemberg

Everything you earn is yours

Lemberg pays according to the agreement — and the longer you drive with us, the more you earn.

💵

Reliable pay

Weekly payments with no escrow, no hidden fees and no payment delays. Thirteen years, no missed payroll.

🛣️

High miles

3,500+ miles a week on consistent, preplanned loads. Less time sitting, more time earning.

📈

Up to $0.80 CPM

Rate based on your experience and safety record, with a bonus program on top of it.

Nationwide freight

Year-round dry van freight across all 48 states. No hazmat, no reefer headaches.

The pay

How you get paid

Straight mileage pay, weekly direct deposit, plus bonuses and extra pay for your time and performance.

  • Up to $0.80 per mile — based on performance, time with the company and compliance.
  • $3,000 sign-on bonus — for new hires with 2+ years of verifiable experience, paid out weekly.
  • $2,500–$3,500+ typical weekly pay — based on miles, direct deposit every week.
  • Referral bonus up to $1,500 — the amount depends on the experience of the driver you refer.
  • Detention paid $25/hour after the first two hours, up to $150 a day.
  • Inspection bonus up to $300 — for keeping a clean inspection record: Level 1 — $300 · Level 2 — $200 · Level 3 — $100
  • Home time transportation reimbursed up to $350 — flights and car rental covered, fuel excluded.
  • Bonus program — more ways to earn, for drivers and owner-operators.
  • Road expenses reimbursed when authorized in advance.
  • No escrow. No deposit. No chargebacks for normal wear and tear on the equipment.

No holdbacks, ever

Most carriers in this market take a security deposit off your first checks and keep a weekly escrow "for maintenance". Over a first year that is commonly $2,800 or more sitting in someone else's account.

We do not run one. What you drive is what you are paid.

How the rate adds up

Standard Rate Safety Bonus Maintenance Bonus Mileage Performance Bonus Loyalty Bonus

Bonuses stack on top of your base CPM — the more consistent and safe you drive, the higher your effective rate. A recruiter will walk you through the current numbers for each one.

The only deduction on your first check is a one-time $147 occupational insurance deposit — required by the insurance policy, not a carrier fee. It is fully refundable when you leave the program in good standing. It is not a maintenance escrow and not a weekly holdback: nothing else is ever taken out of your settlement.

Open positions

Pick how you want to run

Lemberg Group runs dry van freight, and there are three ways to run it with us. Tell a recruiter which one fits and you will get a straight answer about what is open.

OTR Company Driver

Our truck, our trailer, our fuel card. Up to $0.80 per mile with a $3,000 sign-on bonus, 3,500+ preplanned miles a week across the 48 states, and paid every week. Nothing due to start.

Our truck

OTR Lease Purchase

A route to owning your own truck while you run our freight. Steady dry van loads, weekly settlements, fuel card and 24/7 dispatch, with the payment coming out of what you earn. Ask a recruiter which trucks and terms are open right now.

Lease to own

OTR Owner Operator

Your truck, our freight desk. Steady dry van freight in all 48 states, weekly settlements, fuel card and round-the-clock dispatch. No escrow, no deposit and no buy-in to lease on.

See the full terms → Your truck
Lease to purchase

Start as a driver.
Finish as an owner.

Most owner-operators did not start with a truck. They started driving, learned how the freight moves, and bought in when they were ready. Lease to purchase is the road between those two points, and you walk it with our freight under your wheels.

🛠

How it works

You pick a truck from our fleet and run it on our freight. The payment comes out of what you earn each week, alongside the fuel card, the trailer and 24/7 dispatch. Nothing changes about the loads or the support — only whose name ends up on the title.

📈

Why drivers take it

No bank, no credit application and no lump sum to find up front. You build toward your own authority while the miles are already paying, and if you decide ownership is not for you, you stay a company driver on the same freight.

Current trucks and terms change as units come off lease. Ask a recruiter what is open right now — they will give you the payment and the term on the call, not after orientation.

On the road

Driving is your job.
Supporting you is ours.

We handle dispatch, maintenance, fuel, equipment and the unexpected — 24/7.

📋

Preplanned loads

Your next load is assigned before you finish the current one. Less downtime, more miles.

📱

Tablet with unlimited data

Every truck has a tablet for ELD, hours of service and everything else you need on the road.

⚖️

Pre-pass on the fleet

About 70% of our trucks bypass weigh stations. That is hours back every month.

🔧

Our own shop

In-house maintenance means repairs get handled fast — and on our dime, not yours.

Company fuel card

Fuel on the company card within our network. No fronting money and waiting on reimbursement.

☎️

Dispatch & support 24/7

A real person answers at 3 AM. You are never solving a breakdown alone.

🐕

Pet friendly

Bring your dog. Riders welcome too, with a signed authorization from the safety department.

✈️

Home time covered

Flights home and car rental reimbursed up to $350 — fuel excluded.

🎓

Orientation, 1–2 days

At our office in East Dundee, IL. Length depends on your experience, then you roll.

Our story

We build careers,
not just trucking jobs

Lemberg Group was founded in 2012 with one goal — to create a company drivers can trust. Same name, same ownership, every year since. Today we run a modern fleet across all 48 states with steady miles, on-time pay and round-the-clock support.

We are looking for long-term cooperation, not a body in a seat. There is a trial period so both sides can see whether it fits. What matters most is your work ethic, your discipline and your desire to earn.

Integrity first

Trust starts with honesty. Clear communication, transparent pay, no hidden surprises.

Driver success

Your success is ours. Steady miles, modern equipment and the support you need to grow.

Always moving forward

We keep investing in our people, our equipment and our operations to create better opportunities every year.

The people behind the wheel

Great drivers deserve a great team

Every mile you drive is backed by recruiters, dispatchers, safety specialists and mechanics whose job is to keep you moving, earning and supported. From your first phone call to every load you deliver.

Questions

We will answer all your questions

Is there really no escrow and no deposit?
Correct. There is no escrow account, no security deposit and no truck deposit. You will see it in writing in your contract before you sign anything — read that section first, we expect you to.
What happens if I damage the truck or trailer?
Normal wear and tear is our cost. We do not run chargebacks against your settlement for it. Serious incidents go through our safety department and insurance, not through your paycheck.
When do I get my first check?
Pay runs weekly by direct deposit. Your first settlement comes on the first payday after your first full week on the road.
Do you pay detention time?
Yes — $25 per hour after two free hours, up to $150 per day, when the detention procedure is followed.
How much home time do I get?
Home time is worked out with each driver individually, based on where you live and how you want to run. We do not promise every weekend home to everybody, because for most lanes that would be a lie. What we do cover: flights home and car rental reimbursed up to $350, fuel excluded.
What kind of freight do you haul?
General freight, dry food, machinery, equipment, paper products and packaging material. No hazmat.
Does the fuel card work at all truck stops?
No — only within a specified network. Your dispatcher will route you accordingly.
Do you reimburse road expenses?
Yes, for expenses that were authorized in advance.
Do you allow pets in the cab?
Yes. Lemberg Group is pet friendly.
Do you allow passengers in the cab?
Yes, with a signed authorization from the safety department.
Do you allow firearms in the cab?
No. Per company policy, OTR drivers are not permitted to keep firearms in the truck.
Do you provide a tablet for ELD?
Yes. Every truck is equipped with a tablet with unlimited data, used for hours of service and other programs useful to drivers.
Do you provide a pre-pass to bypass weigh stations?
Yes — about 70% of our trucks do not enter weigh stations.
How long is safety orientation?
Every new driver comes to the office for training, usually up to 2 days depending on experience.
Is there a reward program for drivers and owner operators?
Yes, the company runs a bonus program. Your recruiter will walk you through the current terms.
Can I use personal conveyance and yard move?
Yes, in the scenarios below.
  • Personal conveyance: driving to the closest parking after delivery or pickup when you are out of hours; travel from your en-route lodging to restaurants and entertainment; moving the CMV at the request of a safety official during off-duty time. Maximum 50 miles.
  • Yard move: moving the CMV at a customer's location, where the facility is closed to public access.
